Forgiven: There is something powerful about one simple word: forgiven. We all have moments we wish we could change, words we wish we could take back, decisions we regret, mistakes we would never make again. Sometimes, even after asking God for forgiveness, we continue carrying the guilt as though we still have a debt to pay. But grace says, “You are forgiven.” God does not forgive you and then constantly remind you of who you used to be. When you sincerely come to Him, confess your sins, and seek His forgiveness, He offers mercy, cleansing, and a new beginning. Being forgiven doesn't mean the mistake never happened. It means the mistake no longer has the authority to define you. You may remember your past, but you don't have to live there. You may regret what happened, but you don't have to remain imprisoned by it. You may have fallen, but through God's grace, you can get back up. The cross reminds us that our sin was great, but His grace is greater.
